Position Highlights

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and a strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. Working closely with development and operations teams, you will translate business and technical requirements into scalable, well-architected cloud solutions within the AWS ecosystem. As part of a team that ensures continuous platform availability, you will also contribute to our shared operational support model.

Main responsibilities:

•    Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using CloudFormation with TypeScript (AWS CDK).
•    Contribute to the team's operational support model, including participation in a shared on-shift rotation to ensure platform availability and reliability.
•    Design and deploy modular, cloud-based systems following AWS best practices and well-architected principles.
•    Implement and manage event-driven integrations using SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Kinesis, and API Gateway.
•    Manage data storage and retrieval across S3, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch, ensuring compliance with security policies.
•    Configure and maintain cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, CloudFront).
•    Provide day-to-day operational support of the organization's cloud infrastructure and environments.
•    Monitor system performance, set up alerting, and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch and related tooling.
•    Manage end-to-end incident response, including root cause analysis and post-incident process improvements.
•    Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
•    Ensure availability, reliability, and security of all cloud deployments and products.
•    Manage identity services including AWS SSO and Cognito.
•    Work within a Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, delivery, and retrospectives.
•    Regularly review existing systems and proactively recommend improvements to reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Main requirements:

•    3+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role, demonstrating expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructures.
•    Experience working as a contributing member within a Scrum team — participating in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives from a development/engineering perspective.
•    Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation with TypeScript.
•    Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda - function design, error handling, and performance optimization in event-driven architectures.
•    Event-driven messaging and orchestration: Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, AWS Step Functions.
•    Data storage and databases: Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB.
•    Networking: Amazon VPC (subnets, security groups, NAT gateways)
•    Identity and access management: AWS IAM, AWS SSO, Amazon Cognito.
•    Proficiency in scripting and automation for cloud operations.
•    Experience with monitoring and observability using Amazon CloudWatch (logs, metrics, alarms, dashboards).
•    Fluent in English (B2 level minimum)
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•    AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate) – preferred.

What we offer:

•    24 days annual paid leave
•    Additional health insurance (outpatient & hospital medical care, dental care, coverage of dioptric glasses, and more)
